About Me
Tyler Silvester, DPM, earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Midwestern University Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his podiatric medicine and surgery residency training at the New Mexico VA Health Care System and Kaiser Foundation Hospital, with training in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Silvester’s clinical training includes elective and non-elective foot and ankle surgery, with experience in trauma and reconstructive procedures. He has cared for patients with a variety of foot and ankle conditions, including infections, fractures, ulcers and neuropathy, and has experience providing preoperative and postoperative care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
His clinical interests include reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, traumatic injuries and complex fractures, arthritic conditions, peripheral nerve conditions, limb salvage and diabetic wound care. Dr. Silvester also has experience educating and mentoring medical and podiatric students in clinical, surgical and inpatient settings.
Outside of work Tyler enjoys spending time with his wife, son and dog and doing anything outside. You’ll also find him reading or watching sports.

Insurance
St. Peter's Health accepts most major insurances but may not be contracted with them all. To verify if we are in-network with your specific insurance, contact your insurance carrier.
Patients are expected to furnish all the necessary health insurance information and sign the medical release and insurance assignment authorizations. St. Peter’s Health will submit complete insurance claims on the appropriate forms for the charges recorded.
Keep in mind that insurance is a contract between the patient and his or her insurance company and that St. Peter’s Health is acting only as a billing agent. St. Peter’s Health cannot pursue payment from insurance carriers in the event of non-payment or benefit denials. If a patient’s insurance carrier has not submitted payment within 30 days of billing, St. Peter’s Health expects the patient to pay the balance in full. Patients receive a monthly statement showing any account activity and the remaining balance due.
