Registration now open for St. Peter’s Annual Family Fun Fest

July 11, 2018

Registration is now open for St. Peter’s Health 2018 Family Fun Fest, Helena’s premiere wellness event to promote community resources to kids and their families. Family Fun Fest will be held Saturday, August 11, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. A one-mile fun run starts at Centennial Park at 9 a.m. followed by the Fun Fest in the Great Northern Town Center.

All runners registered by August 2 will receive a free T-shirt. Those wearing a Family Fun Fest T-shirt also receive free admission to the Great Northern Carousel, the Helena Family YMCA pool and ExplorationWorks for a limited time on August 11. Runners are welcome to register after August 2 or on race day, but a T-shirt cannot be guaranteed to anyone registered after August 2. All youth runners receive a free backpack. Parents/guardians of young children are welcome to run or walk with their child.

The Fun Fest following the race at the Great Northern Town Center will include games, information booths, outdoor recreation demonstrations, healthy snacks and giveaways. Kids can also take a shot at a Bighorns hockey player in the dunking booth, play street hockey, tour the Lewis and Clark County bookmobile and climb aboard an ambulance.

The annual Family Fun Fest is presented free to the community by St. Peter’s Health and PacificSource Health Plans. Contributing sponsors include the Helena Family YMCA, the Great Northern Carousel, ExplorationWorks, Silver Star Steak Company, Great Northern Town Center and Capital City Health Club.
