Shane Jenson earned a Master of Science in nursing with a family nurse practitioner focus from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, Calif. He received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.
Jenson has more than 15 years of experience as a family nurse practitioner, providing care in primary care, pain management, behavioral health, substance use treatment, urgent care and other clinical settings. His experience includes the assessment and management of acute and chronic conditions and extensive experience caring for patients with chronic pain.
Jenson also has experience performing interventional treatments, including joint and trigger point injections, epidural injections and nerve blocks. Earlier in his career, he worked as a registered nurse in cardiology, orthopedics, neurosurgery and medical-surgical care.
Jenson is accepting new patients with St. Peter’s Health Palliative Care at St. Peter’s Health Regional Medical Center.
