St. Peter’s Health Wound Care Clinic has earned the Healogics Center of Distinction Award for 2025. This is the third time in four years the clinic has earned the award.
To achieve this distinction, the clinic had to meet the following criteria:
- Achieve a healing rate of 77% or better; this means healing patients within 14 weeks of their initial visit. St. Peter's achieved 82%.
- A top box score for 'likelihood to recommend' of 90% or better. St. Peter's achieved 91%.
- An outlier rate of <16%; an outlier is a patient whose wounds have not healed within 14 weeks of admission. St. Peter's achieved 8%.
St. Peter's Outpatient Wound Clinic opened in 2021 and has grown from a panel of 30 patients on opening day to seeing 90-100 patients weekly. Previously, the Clinic earned the Center of Distinction Award for 2022 and 2023.
