August 6, 2026

St. Peter’s presented BEE Awards to Primary Care Physician Robert Johnson, DO and Ultrasound Tech Harley Larson, RDMS. A companion to the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses, the BEE Award is given to any exceptional general or professional St. Peter's staff member nominated by patients, family members, or colleagues.

Nominated by a patient who has a great deal of anxiety around the medical field, Dr. Johnson makes them feel comfortable enough to talk about difficult and deeply personal situations. “Dr. Johnson treats me with dignity, respect and genuine kindness at every visit. He never makes me feel rushed, judged, dismissed or embarrassed. He listens carefully, speaks in a calm and reassuring way and creates an environment where I feel seen as a whole person, not just a chart or a diagnosis,” said the patient.

The patient who nominated Larson said she was the light in one of the darkest moments she had ever experienced. “Harley truly listened to me. She heard what I was saying, believed me and treated me like I mattered. She never made me feel crazy, dramatic, difficult or unimportant. She made me feel seen. She made me feel human,” said the patient.
