Visitor Restrictions Implemented at St. Peter's Health Due to Increase in Influenza and Respiratory Illness in Community
Due to increased influenza and respiratory illness activity in our community, St. Peter's Health announced today that it is implementing visitor restrictions at the Regional Medical Center. While the restrictions are in effect, anyone with cold- or flu-like symptoms may not enter the hospital unless they are seeking care.
These symptoms include:
• Fever
• Cough
• Sore Throat
• Runny Nose
• Nasal Congestion
If you don't have these symptoms and are visiting a loved one in the hospital, please wash or sanitize your hands frequently to avoid getting sick or spreading illness to others. Visitation hours (5:30 am to 9:00 pm daily) are not affected by the new restrictions.

Seasonal vaccines are readily available at nearly every pharmacy and medical clinic in town, including St. Peter's. Many locations offer walk-in services so that you can get your vaccine without an appointment. Most insurance plans also fully cover the visit.
