Don't miss access to this world-class service improvement!

In June, St. Peter’s Health is switching its online health record information service from Patient Portal to MyChart as part of a transition to the best-in-class electronic health record system, EPIC. This is an exciting change because MyChart offers enhanced, more user-friendly tools for patients to use. MyChart gives users free, quick, one-stop online access to do things like manage appointments, message care teams, view test results, view medical record information and pay bills.

Don't lose access!

The switch from Patient Portal to MyChart means that if you currently access provider messaging, medical records, billing or test results, etc., online through Patient Portal (the current tool) and/or if you want to continue to have online access to medical record information for healthcare services at St. Peter’s after June 10, 2023, you will need a MyChart account.

Important transition dates

  • Between May 19-21, 2023, you may have received a text message from St. Peter’s about MyChart. This text included setup instructions through secure activation codes sent to a valid mobile number on file if you have a scheduled appointment after June 10. If you activate your MyChart account in May, you will be able to view appointment information only. Some portions of MyChart won’t be fully available until after June 10. Patient Portal accounts will be fully operational until June 10. If you did not receive a text, you will not be able to signup for MyChart until after June 10.
  • Starting June 10, most Patient Portal tools will no longer be available. You will need a MyChart account for online medical record information access and to view information for services you receive after June 10. More information about general MyChart signup will be available here starting on June 10.

Important Patient Portal transition information

Until June 10, you can still use Patient Portal and all of its tools if you have a current, active account. Patient Portal functionality will begin to change on June 10.
