Ezekiel Sharples, MD earned his medical degree at the University of Washington School of Medicine as part of the Montana WWAMI program. He completed his residency in family medicine at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo. During his time at Saint Mary’s Hospital, Dr. Sharples became the first physician there to receive a Monarch Award for a caregiver who Motivates, is Organized, Nurtures others, has the ability to Analyze critical situations, Restore normal operations, and Care for and Heal others.
Dr. Sharples joined St. Peter's Health as their first fellowship-trained palliative care physician and became a member of the Ethics Committee. He is a member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association and the Montana Medical Association. He is now delivering care at St. Peter’s Health Regional Medical Center.
