Heidi Hanekamp, MD earned her medical degree at the University of Washington in Seattle. She received her bachelor of science in molecular biology and physiology and a minor in music from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyo. She completed her residency in family medicine at St. Mary’s in Grand Junction, Colo. During residency, she completed a rural training program abroad in Lesotho, Africa. Her residency program partnered with the Lesotho-Boston Health Alliance program to provide care to underserved patients and teach residents and nurses at Motebang District Hospital in Hlotse, Lesotho.
Dr. Hanekamp is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Wyoming Medical Society and the Colorado Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Hanekamp is now delivering care at the St. Peter’s Health Regional Medical Center.
