According to the United States Census Bureau, American Indian, Alaska Native individuals make up 2.2 percent of the population in Lewis and Clark County. A 2021 Commonwealth Fund report ranked health outcomes for American Indian, Alaska Native people living in Montana as 13th in a comparison group of 14 states.

We are currently seeking members to join an advisory committee made up of community members passionate about American Indian, Alaska Native health and health care in the Helena area. This group will specifically examine our current health care offerings for members of American Indian, Alaska Native communities, and will collaborate with us to improve those offerings over the coming years. The group will meet once a month.
